Android tablets are usually the better fit for event registration, check-in, live polling, and booth demos, since they are lighter, cheaper to deploy in bulk, and built for touch-first apps. Windows tablets make more sense when your event depends on full desktop software, complex spreadsheets, or internal systems already tied to Microsoft infrastructure. Most large events actually use a mix of both: Android on the show floor and registration desk, and Windows for boardroom sessions or technical demos that need genuine desktop applications to run properly.
